Years of neglect and disinterest were shed like an old skin when the McComb Depot was renovated, updated and expanded to house the Pike County Chamber of Commerce and a Railroad Museum along with the Amtrak waiting room and accessible toilets. A follow-up project included creation of the adjacent park with a stylized structure to protect a re-located engine, coal car, refrigerator car and caboose; contemplative seating areas and a handsome landscape-bordered walkway.
